how we came to be here.

Explosion, she said. Then,

upright, no fur, no scales. Next,

two looked at the sun and one said,

I am he incarnate.

in Austin, Texas. She recently received a Master
of Liberal Arts degree from St. Edward’s
University where she completed a thesis project
in poetry. She is currently working on a
